Plan the picture around its purpose
A cake or flower portrait can work for a birthday post. For an invitation, leave space beside the person so you can add the date, time and location separately. A birthday profile picture needs a closer crop where the face remains readable even without the props.
Avoid squeezing a cake, large balloons, a bouquet, confetti and several lines of text into one scene. One or two accents are easier to coordinate, and the result will contain fewer tiny details to inspect.
- Studio: a plain background, party clothes and a small cake.
- Party: direct flash, an expressive pose and one clear birthday detail.
- Quiet portrait: soft light with flowers or a ribbon rather than elaborate decoration.

Birthday photo prompts to adapt
These are three independent ideas for a generator with text input. They are not the exact prompts behind the cover and do not guarantee the same output across models. You can also choose a ready-made birthday shoot in ReCrea.
A portrait with a cake
Waist-up portrait in a bright studio, plain festive outfit, a small white cake on a table in front of the person, face fully visible, soft frontal light, cream background, simple composition, no letters or numbers on the cake.
A flash-lit party portrait
Knee-up birthday portrait, dark party dress, direct camera flash, a neutral wall with a few silver decorations behind the person, confident pose, face in focus, no lettering or complicated handheld props.
A portrait with flowers
Chest-up portrait beside a window, quiet light background, a small bouquet below the face, plain clothing, soft daylight, a gentle smile, natural skin texture, space to one side for a birthday message.

Make your birthday set in ReCrea
Build a personal AI profile from 10–50 clear photographs of the same person, or reuse an existing profile. Choose birthday looks by composition: where the cake sits, how large the face appears and whether there is room for a caption. Check current prices and options in the app before starting.
Start with one closer portrait, then add a wider frame for your post. Keep a similar palette and mood across the set. A catalog image shows a direction; it does not promise an exact match for the outfit, pose or decorations.

Check candles, lettering and hands
AI may distort an age number, a name on a cake or the number of candles. If the text must be exact, choose a picture without lettering and add it in an editor afterward. This also keeps the date, time and location correct on an invitation.
Inspect fingers near the cake, tableware, ribbons and reflections. Then check whether the face is recognizable. Leave time to review and select a result rather than depending on a finished picture at a precise minute.
- Age, name and date are correct.
- Hands do not merge with tableware or props.
- Decorations do not cover the face.
- The crop fits the post, avatar or invitation.
Questions, answered
Can I request an exact age number on the cake?
Do not rely on generated numbers being correct. Choose a cake without lettering and add the right number in an editor after selecting your image.
Do I need a real cake in my input photos?
No. Your input images build the personal AI profile. The selected look provides the birthday scene and props.
Can I make a birthday picture of someone else?
Use another person's photographs only with their permission. Keep different people in separate personal profiles.
