Choose better photos for your AI profile

Prepare 10–50 photographs of the same person for a ReCrea personal AI profile. Choose sharp, varied pictures with a clearly visible face. Repeated selfies and heavily filtered images provide less useful information about your appearance.

Check which workflow you are starting

Open the feature you want to use and read its upload requirements. Creating a personal AI profile and working with an individual picture can require different inputs. Being able to start with one selfie does not mean one picture is enough for every mode.

If your personal profile is already ready, reuse it for new looks instead of uploading another set for every shoot. The input photos describe your appearance; you do not need to photograph the outfit or background you want in the result.

Build a set that shows different views of you

Choose recent photographs that reflect your current appearance. Include front-facing images, gentle head turns and a mixture of closer and wider portraits. Different lighting is useful as long as your features remain clear.

Do not fill the set with duplicates. The goal is to provide more information about your appearance, not simply reach a file count. Replace blurry pictures with new photos in clear daylight when possible.

  • Keep the same person throughout the set.
  • Make sure the face is in focus and not hidden in deep shadow.
  • Include different angles and expressions.
  • Avoid heavy retouching, masks and face-changing filters.

Leave these images out

Remove group photos, covered faces, heavy motion blur and very dark images. Avoid screenshots with interface elements or photographs of pictures displayed on a screen: they introduce distracting details and can reduce usable image quality.

Sunglasses, a hand across the face or a strong shadow from a hat can hide important features. If you normally wear glasses, choose frames without strong glare so the eyes remain visible.

What to check if the result does not look like you

Review the input set for outdated photos, mixed appearances, filters and duplicates. Then try a simple portrait look with even lighting. Elaborate styling can make likeness harder to assess.

If you contact support, keep examples of the result and explain which workflow you selected. Specific examples are more useful than a general impression. You do not need to publish your personal input photographs publicly to investigate the issue.

Questions, answered

How many photos do I need?

Standard personal-profile creation currently uses 10–50 images. Before choosing your set, check the minimum and maximum on the selected upload screen. If it lets you begin with one photo, follow the next steps for that mode. Variety and clarity matter more than a large set of similar pictures.

Can I use someone else's photos?

Use your own images or photographs you have permission to process. Do not mix different people in a single personal profile.

Do I need a professional camera?

No. Clear smartphone photographs in good lighting can work. Check that the face is sharp and the pictures have not been heavily filtered.
